The one-eyed pig

Once, I was at the shopping mall and I saw a toy pig on sale.

Unlike any other pigs, this pig is special. It has only one eye.

I don’t know what happened to its other eye.

Imagine a toy pig without an eye, who would want to buy defect toys?

Imagine sitting on the shelf when all its other friends are being bought.

Leaving the store to a home where they’ll be loved.

And poor pig sitting all alone on the shelf unwanted.

So, I thought I should buy it but I was too late.

When I’ve done contemplating and decided to buy that pig I went back to the store

but it wasn’t there anymore.

I wonder what happened to it..

Is it at the back in the dark storeroom unwanted forever?

Till today that incident remains as one of my many regrets.

P.s- I have a toy rabbit which I thought was a donkey. Didn’t realize it was a donkey till I was 17. So, I have a toy rabbit named Donkey.
